My first draft won a spot on the Crime Writers of Canada’s top-five shortlist for the 2019 Unhanged Arthur Ellis Award (best unpublished first crime novel).

STATUS: I finished the first draft of this manuscript in February 2022. Thank you to Juanita of Mystery Factory for helping me improve my plotting skills with this book!
“Book 3” (no title yet)
GOAL: Plan & plot in fall 2022, then complete the first draft (80,000-95,000 words) by December 2023.
STATUS: I’ve received a $1,500 grant to help with this project. Thank you SO MUCH to the Columbia Basin Trust (via the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance)! I really appreciate my community’s support of my writing goals & efforts.
